I stayed 2 nights while participating in a marathon hike for charity nearby. I feel so lucky to have found Raddicombe Lodge, it was the perfect location, clean, spacious and very comfy bedrooms and the most accomodating hosts I could have asked for. Penny was so welcoming on arrival and when hearing I wouldn't be need breakfast on my first morning due to an early start, immediately asked what time I wanted breakfast, which was so touching. Both Penny and Neil were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble and I will certainly look at rebooking when I'm in this area in future.

What a lovely place to stay. Penny and Niel were wonderful hosts and very friendly to our labrador. They had little bits and bobs around the place like dog towels by the front door and teas/biscuits in the room which were great quality. The room was lovely and clean and super comfy, we really felt at home straight away. The shower was really good too, I want one at home! The breakfast was absolutely stonking! What a great selection and the portions were perfect. Everything is cooked to order and using local ingredients so you know its good quality and it tasted lovely. The attitude and friendliness of staff really rounds off the visit as they make you feel so welcome and at home. I would highly recommend for anyone staying near Brixham and Paignton as both are easily accessible from here. 10mins drive roughly. Mac the kabrador also recommends.

We stayed here for 1 night on our trip to Cornwall and could have stayed for a week!! Wonderful friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome and at home despite all of the covid restrictions Extremely comfy bed/bedding and lovely bathroom/shower. To top it off our room was immaculate and spacious (including a sunrise sea view from our window!!) Would highly recommend the cooked breakfast. Yummy! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back!!

Raddicombe Lodge is a fantastic place to stay - especially for dog owners. They had thought of everything you might need when on holiday with a dog. Thoughtful little touches throughout. Beautiful views and quiet surroundings. The hosts were really welcoming and were more than happy to accommodate a gluten free diet too! It’s really well located for exploring the area and we would definitely recommend them.

I stayed 4 nights with my family and it was the highlight of our entire England trip. Penny is a very gracious host. She went above and beyond recommending restaurants and points of interest in the area. Even giving us a map that she took the time to mark with places to go. Besides the amazing view of the English Channel, the best part of the stay was the breakfast each morning. Even though we were the only guests, Penny offered the full breakfast menu to us. Everything was really delicious and heaping portions. My favorite was the eggs on sourdough with smoked salmon. Overall I would recommend the Raddicombe Lodge to anyone staying in the area. Pretty grounds, great breakfast and very friendly staff. A great place to relax and get away from it all.

A very welcoming team with good local knowledge, very comfortable rooms and guest lounges on a hill top location with views out along the coast. Breakfast is prepared for you, no soggy toast or flaccid bacon. Be warned the full breakfast is large, with excellent local bacon and black pudding, but you can have pretty well anything you fancy without a problem In fine weather you can have breakfast in the attractive garden. Dogs are welcome and understood.

Absolutely brilliant stay - Penny, Neil and their daughter were just so lovely and helpful and friendly. Our room was really comfortable and super clean and the breakfast was delicious. We didn't have a car and Penny and Neil helpfully dropped us to and from the nearest station, which was so kind. We were also over for our anniversary and we received a complimentary bottle of Prosecco - would definitely recommend.
